Preparing For A Career As A Real Estate Receptionist


A real estate receptionist has the same primary functions as any receptionist however they are working in a more specific work environment which is the real estate office. Coordinating communication between employees of a real estate office and clients is one of the main jobs of a real estate receptionist. They take calls, answer inquiries or forward the caller to the right person or department. They are also expected to perform secretarial work that involves clerical and organizational tasks. In some real estate offices, a receptionist may also be tasked with performing notary duties for important documents. Since it is mostly a people job, it’s important for a receptionist to have strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Although they spend a good time on the phone, there are queries to be answered by email. To become efficient at performing the myriad tasks and responsibilities that the job entails, you can enrol in real estate receptionist courses.
